Push notifications for the Security Expert Mobile App are enabled by creating a specially configured ReportIP service that is associated with an area.

Cross controller operations enable a set of controllers to operate as one system, in which all physically connected items on one controller are accessible and usable by various functions and records within Security Expert.

Basic elevator control is commonly achieved by installing a card reader in each elevator car. When a user badges their card at the card reader, the floors that they have access to are unlocked for a short period of time. During this time, the user is able to select a floor.

The Security Expert Axxon Video Service provides a seamless integration between Security Expert and a Axxon One Video Management System (VMS), enabling you to control cameras and view live and historical video footage from a single easy to use interface.

While the most common End of Line (EOL) resistor configurations for inputs can be selected from the available options within Security Expert and SP-C-WEB, custom resistor configurations can also be easily achieved through the use of specific commands, providing sites with unlimited configuration possibilities.

In a typical installation the user is prompted to select or confirm certain options, such as where the program should be installed and which features should be included. In a silent install, these items are either selected automatically or defined by the parameters used, enabling you to deploy the software via the command line and without requiring any input from the user. Allegion integration uses wireless technology that enables Security Expert to communicate with the locks via panel interface modules (PIMs) that are connected to the Security Expert controller.

The Milestone Video Service provides a seamless integration between Security Expert and a Milestone DVR system, enabling you to control cameras and view live and historical video footage from a single, easy-to-use interface.

Roles determine what an operator can do within Security Expert by defining the permissions the role has to each of the various database tables.
