The workstation must be at v2.0 or above to be compatible with virtual software licensing. Continuum View is a program that will enable you to view a graphical representation of the objects in a Continuum database. The program can display the object information in a flow chart representing the connectivity of the objects or an Excel compatible text report. All object types are supported for Continuum and Infinity systems as well as providing an intelligent wizard to assist in creating documentation. The program has a multi-document interface that allows you to view any number of different flow charts at the same time. These can then be saved as a flow chart file or sent direct to a printer. Real-time values for the objects can be displayed in a flow chart if required which is especially useful when commissioning or fault finding on site.

Here is some info on deleting problem personnel records from the Continuum database. There is a known problem where if you try to attach an area to a personnel record and that area is in a controller that is offline, you will get distribution errors because Continuum can't send the personnel record to the controller. Currently, the only way around this is to do it through SQL. There is a table in SQL that is called AREALINK, this table has all the area and schedule attachments for each personnel record. What has to be done is a query run that will return the cross reference of the person's last name and it's SQL id(PersonIDLo). The next step is to run a query for each personnel record you want to fix. The final step is to reload the controllers to make sure all the databases are in Sync. This is the query to resolve the person's SQL ID and their last name. After this query is run, do the following query for each person you are trying to clean up: delete * from arealink where personidlo = xxxxxxxxxxx Using Regrebld to backup and restore your SQL Server Registry - If you plan to make changes to the SQL Server Registry entries, you should first back up those entries by using the regrebld -backup command-line utility. Run this command from the Command Prompt: Regrebld with the backup parameter creates five files in the \Mssql7\Binn folder: mssql7.rbk, mssql7ct.rbk, mssql7ea.rbk, mssql7es.rbk, and mssql7p.rbk. If you have any problems after editing the Registry, you can restore the SQL Server Registry entries by running regrebld -restore.
